DMV question. Traded cars awhile ago?

About two months ago I traded my jeep for an el camino. I was under eighteen and I kinda wanted to wait till I turned 18 to get it registered in my name. Now I'm 18 and still haven't gotten it registered it. My question is what should I do? Is it too late? Will I have to pay fines?
