What do you need to restore an old car?

WOW 31,500 miles on this 87 sounds unbelievable but could happen. It does sound kinda too high on the price. Look at and compare with other older classics and and see what they sell for. Sometimes it is what we want and what it costs does not matter. Look for it being wrecked or rusty under chassis. Interior condition, records of maintenance, oil leaks, engine smoking, rubber hoses, tires, interior, A/C, P/S all work for this price it should be almost perfect and not need much restoring. Always bring up whats wrong with the car to the owner and try and negotiate or offer a lesser price. Good luck
